Back in the summer of 2014, the great folks from UNC TV joined us at Babylon for a meal on our patio. Here’s what they had to say about their visit:
The Mesopotamian city of Babylon has been successfully translated into an exciting new restaurant for Raleigh, North Carolina. Owner and chef Samad Hachby designed the restaurant as a portal to Morocco for visitors hungry for a different flavor. Much of the decor, including the ceiling, floors, and furniture were imported from Morocco. The food combines Hachby’s Moroccan flavor with local ingredients from North Carolina farmers, which creates wonderful recipes like the restaurant’s classic lamb tagine. It’s a fun experience that transports any visitor to an entirely different and delicious place.
